Outpatient Program

Outpatient addiction treatment can be a helpful path to achieving and maintaining long-term sobriety. HVRC offers outpatient programming integrated within our system of detoxification and residential programs.

Outpatient Services

Following inpatient treatment, the fundamentals of recovery may not be strong enough to prevent relapse outside of a structured environment. Hemet Valley Recovery Center (HVRC) offers outpatient services which are integrated within the inpatient medical detoxification and residential programs, and incorporate the same philosophy and treatment objectives. Patients in the outpatient or partial hospitalization (PHP) level of care are case managed by counseling staff dedicated to both inpatient and outpatient programs.

Outpatient services are provided from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Saturday, with lunch and dinner provided as part of the service. The outpatient program consists of an average of 30 treatment days, including participation in the intensive family program. Affiliated recovery residences are also available for patients at this level of care.

The Benefits of Outpatient Addiction Treatment

HVRC’s proven partial hospitalization outpatient model has been developed and continually improved as the patient population has grown. At this level of care, patients may choose to live at home or in sober living facilities, and attend regular, scheduled treatment sessions in a structured environment. This brings the routine and lessons of recovery to one’s day-to-day life, as patients readjust to life outside an inpatient setting.

Early recovery is a tumultuous time for everyone. Friends and family members may not be fully equipped to hold their newly sober loved one accountable, or worse yet, often have substance use issues of their own. PHP solves this problem by providing structured, clinical care along with increasing independence and personal responsibilities.
