We hope that the addiction treatment information you have reviewed has been helpful for you as you make decisions about your care or the care of a loved one. For many, admitting that there is a problem and seeking help is the most difficult hurdle. We are here to help you every step of the way. We invite you to contact our highly trained admissions staff to answer any questions you may have and to begin the assessment process.
The Admissions and Assessment department at Hemet Valley Recovery Center & Sage Retreat is staffed with nurses and chemical dependency counselors to answer questions and address the concerns of each caller regarding chemical dependency, the detoxification process, medications, rehabilitation and extended care. Payment arrangements can be made at this time for private pay options and/or insurance coverage. The Admissions staff will check and verify insurance coverage for appropriate benefits and obtain authorization prior to admission.
For patients arriving from out of town, transportation is provided to and from the airport. Hotel accommodations are also arranged for family members, if necessary.
Upon arrival, patients are immediately assessed by a nurse. This assessment includes a thorough history of past and present medical problems, vital signs, a detailed history of substance abuse, family history, and current medications. Information from this assessment is immediately communicated to the physician, and treatment orders are received. All patients are seen by the physician within 24 hours of admission, and daily thereafter. The Admissions and Assessment staff are available on an ongoing basis to all patient and family members throughout the treatment process.
